But an estate plan is something that every adult should have - especially because we know that life can throw a curve ball at any age. This is why it’s never too early to legally document your wishes and form a game plan for protecting your financial future. In this session, Certified Elder Law Attorney Brendan Daly will discuss important estate and asset protection planning documents, such as Wills, Living Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Health Care Directives. He’ll also share strategies to protect your assets should an unforeseen crisis occur in your family. You’ll gain an understanding of how the Medicaid rules work and the pitfalls to avoid. Brendan will explain different planning techniques that can protect your life savings from the costs of long-term care. All students will receive an easy-to-understand trusts guidebook written by our attorneys.
