Description

Boat America is a boating certificate class that offers an in-depth and interesting boating safety course and provides the knowledge needed to obtain a CT boating certificate. The class is taught by certified instructors of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and, with the purchase of your state certificate, will allow you to drive a Personal Water Craft (PWC) or any boat up to 65 feet. Some insurance companies will also offer discounts on boating insurance to boaters who successfully complete this course.  A $10 discount is available for senior citizens and first responders for this class. You must phone in your registration to receive this discount.

 

Additional Notes

Please note: Students must attend all 5 classes to pass the course. 

There will be no classes on April 2^nd and 9^th, the last class is April 16^th.

This class will be held in Room 164. Subject to change, if needed.
