ORIENTATION REGISTRATION
FOR CONNECTICUT RESIDENTS ONLY
HIGH SCHOOL COMPLETION CLASSES WILL BE IN-PERSON OR REMOTE LEARNING FOR THE 2022-23 SCHOOL YEAR.
All NEW students interested in enrolling in VRABE's High School Completion Programs (CDP, GED or NEDP) are REQUIRED to register for and ATTEND an Orientation Session on ZOOM. All High School Completion Programs are FREE to residents in the 14 towns served by VRABE. Towns include Ashford, Bolton, Colchester, Coventry, East Windsor, Ellington, Glastonbury, Griswold, Mansfield, South Windsor, Tolland, Vernon, Wethersfield and Willington.
Program Requirements
THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT'S MINIMUM AGE FOR STUDENTS TO DROP OUT OF SCHOOL AND/OR ATTEND ADULT EDUCATION IS 17 YEARS OLD
FOR ALL PROGRAMS: ALL STUDENTS MUST BRING A STATE OR GOVERNMENT ISSUED I.D. (DRIVER'S LICENSE, STATE I.D., PASSPORT, MILITARY I.D.) NOTE: OUT-OF-STATE STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF RESIDENCY (i.e. lease, utility bill, recent mail to you at CT address)
AGE 17 & 18 ONLY: A letter of withdrawal from your former high school. No out-of-state high school withdrawals will be accepted. NOTE: Out-of-state students must go to their CT town of residence high school to execute a withdrawal from a CT school.
CDP-CREDIT DIPLOMA STUDENTS ONLY: An "OFFICIAL" transcript is REQUIRED to register for CDP classes.
