Manufacturing Readiness Program

There are more great careers in manufacturing than there are trained people to fill them. In response to this demand, Goodwin College has created the Manufacturing Readiness Program. Students will participate in a 6-week academic boot camp, followed by enrollment in our Quality and Manufacturing Inspections program in the fall. The boot camp portion includes an introduction to the manufacturing industry and tutoring in basic math and English in a friendly and supportive environment.

This program is offered to you at no cost. Thanks to generous grants from the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, the Gryphon Fund, and other resources, we are offering this program tuition-free to those who qualify—and all books and supplies are included.

Upon the successful completion of this program, you will receive placement assistance from our Career Services team in partnership with the Connecticut Business & Industry Association and Capital Workforce Partners.
